Natural Gas Rates Change for Summit Natural Gas Customers
Some area residents will see an exceedingly small increase in their natural gas rate.
The Missouri Public Service Commission Thursday approved a series of rate increases for Summit Natural Gas customers across the state. The change was made to reflect changes in the wholesale costs of natural gas and the company’s Actual Cost Adjustment, which tracks the over-collection or under-collection of gas costs over a 12-month period.
The increase takes effect on November 16.
Customers in Summit’s Gallatin Division, which includes those in Harrison, Daviess, and Caldwell counties, will see an increase of just two cents per Ccf (per hundred cubic feet) to 38-cents per Ccf.
