Gas Powered Clothes Dryer Safety Alert!

Using a Gas Dyer as a Supplemental Heat Source.

This is a very bad idea and should never be done. Here is why, the exhaust from the gas dryer contains combustion byproducts (Carbon monoxide and aldehydes), which are toxic, in addition to CO 2 and humidity.

There are many ideas/recommendations on the internet about supplementing your heat by using the exhaust from the dryer vent but understand this should NEVER BE DONE WITH A NATURAL GAS OR PROPANE DRYER!
